PERFORMANCE AND USAGE



In 1998, the European Union classified cobalt chloride as a category - 2 carcinogen. In Europe and the United States, the production of blue silica gel containing cobalt chloride has been prohibited, and it shows a trend of being gradually phased out. To meet market demands, our company developed cobalt - chloride - free orange silica gel. This product can be used independently or mixed with other silica gels. To dry substances and indicate humidity, an appropriate amount of the product can be placed in suitable containers or packaging. This product is mainly applied for drying, indicating the degree of dryness or humidity, and is widely used in precision instruments, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, food, clothing, leather, home appliances, and other industrial gases. It can also be used domestically for moisture - proofing and dehumidifying purposes. Orange silica gel has a strong moisture - absorption capacity. During the moisture - absorption process, its appearance color changes significantly according to the amount of absorbed moisture. Therefore, it is often referred to as a "humidity indicator."
