Gamma alumina (gamma type alumina) is a white solid with two commonly used shapes: spherical and powdery. It is non-toxic, odorless, non powdery, and insoluble in water and ethanol. The calcination temperature is generally between 500-800 ℃, and according to the size of the pore volume, it can be made into mesoporous, macroporous and other carriers. The carriers made have the characteristics of strong activity, large pore volume, and high water absorption rate. According to the purpose of the catalyst, appropriate active additives (such as MO Al, Ni Al, Mn Al, Ti Al, CO Al, K-Al, etc.) are added to the carrier to make catalysts for different purposes, which can be used in petrochemical, water treatment, environmental protection industries, fixed bed and mobile bed environments. Spherical carriers can also be directly used as catalysts by adding appropriate amounts of silicon oxide, iron oxide, copper oxide, titanium oxide, etc. to the carrier according to customer requirements.
